EMC
Corporation announced the appointment of Anil Zachariah as its director,
customer support for India and the SAARC region. Zachariah will
be based in Mumbai and will lead a team of customer support engineers
who will be responsible for providing customers with EMC’s
world-class customer service support.
Zachariah will also overlook operations of EMC’s
Service Logistic Centres located in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi.
Speaking on the appointment, Manoj Chugh, president,
EMC India & SAARC, said “Anil brings over 15 years of
customer focused IT service management experience to EMC. His appointment
further fortifies the India management team and builds on EMC’s
number one position in customer satisfaction as we strengthen our
presence in the region.”
Prior to joining EMC, Zachariah had a long stint
at Wipro InfoTech for over 13 years where he held various senior
management positions in the area of professional and customer services.
Before joining Wipro, Zachariah worked as a customer
service engineer at Minicomp. Zachariah holds an engineering degree
in Electronics & Telecommunications and is also trained in quality
processes such as ISO and Six Sigma.
Analog Devices a global
leader in high-performance semiconductors for signal processing
applications, announced the appointment of Joe Lazar as director,
human resources for its India Product Design Centres, situated in
Bangalore and Hyderabad. Lazar’s responsibilities include
the entire gamut of human resources covering staffing, performance
planning, compensation and benefits, training, education and development,
leadership development, employee communication, developing human
resources strategies and benchmark best people practices.
Lazar brings with him over 15 years of HR experience.
Prior to joining Analog Devices, he worked for over three years
at Tektronix India as the head of HR wherein he was instrumental
for all areas of the human resources function for the design centre
as well as the South Asia Marketing Group. He has also served as
vice president—HR at Spice Telecom and as manager, HR in Titan,
where he started his career. In his various capacities Joe Lazar
has handled different activities, including recruitment, performance
management, designing and implementation of function specific performance
appraisals, training and development, employee compensation and
benefits, etc. Lazar has a post graduate degree in management from
Kamaraj University, Madurai.
Trilogy
E-Business Software India announced the appointment of AVK Mohan
as director—Human Resource of its operations. Mohan will be
responsible for the HR function in Trilogy India and will also contribute
to Trilogy’s worldwide HR functions in specialised areas.
He will be instrumental in developing the HR strategy and enhance
the thrust on recruitment efforts in campus and industry hiring.

the ‘Best of Digital Awards’ at Digital for Culture
building initiatives.
