BetterManagement introduces India-specific Web seminars

ITP News Network / Mumbai

BetterManagement, a leading international online business management information resource, has recently targeted India as a priority country. The website has more than 1,20,000 registered participants worldwide. A number of Web seminars have been organised on subjects that are specific to India—implementing anti-money laundering programmes in Indian banks and financial institutions; corporate governance and operational risks, are to name a few.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of SAS, it is an endeavour to educate the business community. The Web seminars (which are free for participants) are a forum for business leaders and academics to share unbiased opinion. BetterManagement also offers a variety of online educational resources. Courses are provided by education partners and delivered by BetterManagement or directly through the partner sites. “We also have a tie-up with Harvard eLearning,” said Sean Daley, director of strategy, BetterManagement.com. He clarifies that the company is not into consulting business.

Fourteen online newsletters are brought out by BetterManagement, including some that are APAC specific, informed Gary Morley, regional manager—Asia Pacific, BetterManagement.com.

The sections include a library of articles, e-learning courses (including some certifications), Web seminars (including interactive presentations), etc.
