Mumbai-based Pragati Software has chalked out
plans for expansion in its infrastructure, faculty, personnel and
courseware to position itself aggressively in the corporate IT training
space.
Currently the company has an existing training
facility of about 1,500 sq ft with 80 seats spread over four rooms
and equipped with the latest systems and gadgets.
Pragati Software plans to invest about Rs one
crore in the expansion plan to incorporate plug-and-play classrooms
equi-pped with video data, LCD projectors, audio playback facilities;
hi-tech IT management development centre; case study, discussion
hall, and state-of-the-art CD ROM based library.
In the first phase, the company will augment
its facilities to surpass the 100 seat number. In the second phase
the company expects to add additional 1,500 sq ft of space and have
a 150 seat training facility.
The company also plans to venture into the e-learning
market with stand-alone products as well as products to augment
its existing offerings.
Pradyumn Sharma, CEO of Pragati Software said,
Our endeavour is to provide an infrastructure that will incorporate
the state-of-the-art facilities aimed at strengthening the conceptual,
technical and human skills of IT manpower resources and managers
who train with us. The objective is to provide a systems driven
setup in the age of digital era.
