Newgen
Software Techno-logies organised a blood donation camp recently,
under the aegis of the Red Cross Society of India. The staff members
of the company enthusiastically participated, and donated their
blood. Forty-seven units of blood were collected from them.
The
organisation takes great pride in its social welfare initiatives.
The staff members are encouraged to participate in such activities.
Earlier, Team Newgen had whole-heartedly rehabilitated a village,
Jawahar Nagar, in Kutch region of Gujarat, in the aftermath of the
January 2000 earthquake.
Newgen
was co-founded by T S Varandarajan and Diwakar Nigam, both IIT Madras
alumni. The company specialises in document management software,
workflow and imaging solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
