GurukulOnline introduces ‘Zero Distance Learning’

ITP News Network /New Delhi

GurukulOnline Learning Solutions (GOLS), recently unveiled Zero Distance Learning (ZDLTM) for making distance learning faster, cheaper and easier. The company is in talks with corporates, universities, government institutions and colleges to set up a Live Virtual University. According to company officials the solution’s key highlight is its remarkably low price range, starting at Rs 5 lakh.

“The traditional distance learning model is restricted to correspondence courses, using bulky text materials. It leaves little scope for interactivity between teachers and students or even amongst the learners. The feedback process is also time consuming. Hands-on training and practical experiments are also difficult to conduct. ZDLTM seamlessly overcomes all the impediments of distance learning by offering an online solution to set up a Live Virtual University with very low investment that can be set up in a matter of just a few weeks,” says Shailesh Mehta, CEO, GurukulOnline Learning Solutions.

ZDLTM product highlights include:

a. Saves cost as learners can share and work on a common application software without really owning it.

b. Facilitates record classroom sessions so that even if a student misses a particular module, the same can be easily reviewed at a later date

c. Collaborative tools such as discussion boards, chats and email to enable interactive community learning

d. Simulations for hands-on lab exercises in both IT courseware/non-IT courseware for a richer learning experience

e. Complete online assessment/examination module

Besides this, ZDLTM seamlessly performs processes like registering students and giving them access to courseware/training. It also tracks learning pattern of the end user, to facilitate an effective training pace ensuring maximum knowledge absorption.
