ITP News Network/Hyderabad

CMTES Informatics, which has more than 70 IT training centres in various parts of India, will soon be providing a three-month course in real time embedded systems technology. For this purpose, the company has entered into a tie-up with Serveen Software Systems of Secunderabad.

CMTES chairman and managing director, G Prabagar, informed that his company would provide the basic training for this course, while specialised coaching would be offered by Serveen. Candidates who have completed their graduation and possess knowledge of electronics, are eligible to appear for this course. The complete fee is Rs 30,000. According to Prabagar, career prospects are very bright for students trained in real time embedded systems as this segment is maintaining a steady growth.

Serven will impart specialised training in industry related projects like civil aviation, automobiles, defense and micro processor, etc. It has expertise in design, development and execution of turnkey solutions for defense research laboratories and multinational companies. Prabagar said that Serven had trained over 400 people in embedded systems and absorbed most of them for its own project works. Its technical offerings include real time systems, Linux device drivers, real time operating systems (RTOS) i.e. VxWorks/pSoS and ADA-95.
