Software reuse simplifies system integration
One of the important requisites being advocated today in software development organisations is to adopt the principle of software ‘reuse’.

Wilco Interna-tional announced the appointment of Elizabeth Lake as its new chief executive officer. She replaces Stephen Bloomer who is leaving Wilco to pursue other business interests outside the financial services IT sector. In her new role, Lake has responsibility for all aspects of Wilco’s business worldwide. She would be based at Wilco’s international headquarters in the UK. “I am very confident that Elizabeth will be a great asset to our organisation, and we wish her every success in leading Wilco to continued growth and development,” said John Hogan, co-head of ADP Brokerage Services Group. “Lake is joining us at a very challenging time and I am sure she with her vast experience will certainly add a new dimension to Wilco,” said Shakti Sagar, managing director, Wilco International Systems. Elizabeth Lake joins Wilco from KPMG where she was a partner for financial services, responsible for strengthening KPMG’s EMA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) division’s financial services consulting capabilities, as well as senior client relationship management. She has also worked with CSC Index and Ziff-Davis Technical Information Company.
Prakash Gurba-xani has taken over as the chief executive officer of TransWorks Information Services. Former CEO Rizwan Koita will now be responsible for strategy and corporate development at Transworks. In his new position Gurbaxani is responsible for all aspects of business including defining the company’s strategy, expanding world-class delivery capabilities across multiple cities in India, customer acquisition, fund-raising and managing investor relations etc. Speaking to the media, Gurbaxani said, “The call centre/BPO industry in India is poised for exponential growth in India over the next few years. I am very excited to be a part of the TransWorks team and I am looking forward to taking TransWorks to the next stage as a leading player in the outsourced CRM/BPO services space.” Prior to joining TransWorks as CEO, Gurbaxani was the founder and CEO (India) of 24/7customer.com, a leading outsourced CRM services company, based in Bangalore. Before this, he was the CEO of Micromedia, India’s first Internet Media Company. He holds a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey and a Bachelors degree in engineering.
