PTC,
the Product Development Company, and ProDevelop recently signed
a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Certified Training
Centre (CTC) in North India. This is PTC’s fourth CTC in India.
PTC worldwide has an initiative to partner with customers to set
up certified training centers to enable engineering professionals
to specialise in Pro/ENGINEER, the leading software solution for
product development.
Under
the MoU, ProDevelop will establish a Certified Training Centre in
Delhi to conduct training for corporates and individuals in the
Indian manufacturing industry on Pro/ ENGINEER. A training of 16
days will certify students as trained Pro/ENGINEER professionals.

Aggarwal, director, ProDevelop Technologies & Services, says,
“The era of drawing board is finished and today’s customers
want to walk through products. We have acquired formidable expertise
on Pro/ENGINEER in the field of product development and are already
using it internally for our various projects for Indian and international
customers. The setting up of this CTC to impart knowledge on Pro/ENGINEER
to others in the manufacturing industry is a logical extension of
our business.”
According
to him, the centres would target engineers in the manufacturing
and engineering services sectors as well as individual students.
