Intel
Corporation announced the appointment of 16 individuals as
vice president. The newly appointed vice presidents are Craig
C Brown, Steven R Grant, Nasser Grayeli, Ravi Jacob, Prasad
L Rampalli, Keith E Reese, Dianne L Rudolph, Bruce Sewell,
Brian M Krzanich, Jeffrey P McCrea, Stuart C Pann, Gregory

Aztec
Software and Technology Services announced the appointment
of William Chris Brown, as chief executive
officer of its global operations. Chris will be responsible
for Aztecs global operations and will report to the
Board. He will be based in Boston, USA. Chris takes over from
S Parthasarathy, who will continue to be the chairman of the
company. Being the full time chairman, he will be closely
involved in the affairs of the company. Having Chris
at the helm of affairs, will free me from day- to-day activities
and enable me to drive specific strategy initiatives important
to the company. This is clearly a reaffirmation of the direction
we embarked on when we inducted Chris to join us as the president
of the company a few months ago. It also gives us tremendous
confidence that a person with his experience, abilities and
maturity will steer us through these tough times, said
S Parthasarathy, chairman of the company. Chris joined Aztec
in April 2001 as president of its global operations, with
over 20 years of experience working in renowned businesses
and IT consulting and services organisations. Prior to joining
Aztec, Chris was vice president of IBM Global Services multi-billion
dollar application management services (AMS) business unit.
Prior to heading the AMS unit, Chris held a number of senior
positions at IBM, including chief operating officer of the
IBM consulting group, worldwide practice leader for the application
solutions consulting practice and vice president of healthcare
solutions. And before joining IBM, he was a partner in the
consulting arm of Ernst & Young, responsible for large-scale
development and integration projects. Chris Brown joined Ernst
& Young after nine years at SYSCON Corporation, a systems
engineering company that specialised primarily in real-time
weapons systems development for the US Department of Defense.

Gerald
Samuel has been appointed head, project management division
of iSmart International, one of Indias leading smart card
software solutions providers. The primary responsibility of
the project management division is to manage various internal
and external agencies and ensure that projects under execution
are delivered in a smooth fashion. Samuels first responsibility
will be timely delivery of the payment infrastructure project.
He will be based in Mumbai and will report to George White,
CEO, iSmart International. Gerald joins iSmart from Hindustan
Lever, the Indian arm of the FMCG multinational giant, Unilever.
He has had a rich experience in project/business management
within the exports division of HLL for 10 years, wherein he
has led various projects to their success. Prior to his stint
in HLL, Gerald has 8 years of experience in project management,
providing consultancy to clients in identifying and promoting
industrial projects. He managed industrial projects from conceptualisation
of idea, feasibility study, market tie-up, technology transfer,
government/bank liasion, and right up to project implementation/start-up. |
