Jog Software launches educational series

ITP News Network Mumbai

Jog Software Solutions has launched ‘Score Plus’, a multimedia based educational software. Prepared by scientists and reputed academicians, Score Plus covers the entire syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics for state boards and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The product has involved high-end designing and programming effort of over 700,000 hours. With over 18,000 animations totalling up to over 240 hours, and crisp professional voice over, Score Plus harnesses the full power of multimedia to make learning easy, fun and an enjoyable experience.

“Our whole effort is to ensure that Score Plus helps students in the learning process itself. The idea is to guide the student through the various steps of learning — understanding, assimilation and retention. Once you do that, then marks follow knowledge,” said Madhav Jog, managing director of Jog Software Solutions.

“The critical difference between learning with Score Plus and using traditional methods is the fact that Score Plus gives three dimensional images while traditional teaching methods are essentially two dimensional,” he added.

Score Plus runs in a dual mode and students can actually ‘step’ through at their own pace through text and graphics. A voluminous collection of question-answers as well as self-generating problems ensures that students have exhaustive practice material.

The company has tied up with four nationalised, three co-operative and one private bank. Prospective customers can pay for the software in over 16,000 branches of these banks and within seven days of the money being deposited Score Plus will be delivered to their homes. They can also avail of loans at concessional rates from these banks.
