Datamatics
celebrated its annual awards function at St Andrews Auditorium,
Bandra recently. The event is held every year to appreciate and
recognise the exemplary efforts of its employees.
Every
year a special committee comprising senior management review and
select employees and the nominations are sent to the HR department
in strict confidence by the department / competency heads. The HR
department in turn verifies records in order to ensure no deserving
employee is left out. Once the committee confirms the respective
nominations, citations are prepared which enlist the accomplishments
of the employees.
There
are various categories of awards viz., Merit Award, Excellence Award,
Outstanding Achievement Award, Special Award, Datamatics Laureate,
Quality Award and Long Service Award. The most prestigious award
is the Outstanding Award that is conferred on individuals who have
made an outstanding contribution to the growth, welfare and prosperity
of the company.
The
only award that maybe conferred on the directors as well is the
Laureate Award. This is to acknowledge the individuals who have
performed extremely well over the years. The Special Award is conferred
on a team or group who have made a special contribution to the company.
